Palomino Motel

What a find. Other motels in the area were way too high for us but Lila really hooked us up. Very accommodating. Thanks Lila, hope to see you again soon.

Lila is sweet and very helpful with getting us a room. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, good hot water for a shower, cold ac, and a flat screen TV. The room I stayed in also had a mini fridge and a microwave! Honestly it is well worth the price and there are some places close by to grab a bite to eat. Overall I’m very happy with my stay! I’ll definitely stop by again when I’m passing by.

I think it may have been here where I stayed in the 1970's, when it was a father and a daughter that run the place there on duty at night. I wish I could remember their names. I stayed there at least two times, saw them there both times. The father spoke of Lake Conchas, or Conchas Dam, and fishing. It was a firm sleep bedding there. Seems like there may have been rooms that could connect through an inner door, from room-to-room. I can remember looking across the street/avenue from the motel, seeing Neon lights in a restaurant window on the other side, and also, from the motel, had a real good view of Tucumcari Mountain, and the letter "T" on its north side. These many years later, I am age 53, going to be age 54 on United Nations Day, October 24th 2021. Weather ready place. I would like to hesr a response from the owner. I also wondered if there was an onsite laundry, and/or ice machine.
