        I was so pleased to have the opportunity to take a private oil painting lesson with Pat yesterday afternoon. He could not have been more positive or helpful to a novice like myself. His gallery is homey and beautiful and a lovely space to hang out! To put myself out there and attempt to paint in front of a professional felt scary. But Pat put me at ease and I have an original oil to take home as a souvenir!

      There is an amazing thing that happens over the course of one of these three hour painting session. It's Fun. People paint because its fun. Here I provide a method to go about a painting which is filled with discovery of what paint can do for you instead of thinking you need to know what to do with it. A series of steps is the key to success. Mary was wonderful,. I enjoyed watching her progress throughout her painting and found ways to enhance her aesthetic skills. Bravo Mary!
