        Having learned that secondary roads in the west are more interesting and not much slower than Interstates, we found ourselves in Socorro, New Mexico on our way from Phoenix back home to Maine. An online search for dinner brought us to Box Canyon Brewery which had live music! The staff is very friendly, there were a lot of local folks enjoying the music. Cool place it felt like we were home with friends. Good food and good times.

        Great beers! The Mudders Milk cream ale was amazing and smooth. My favorite was the Cherry vanilla stout though. The ambiance was nice as well. They have put a lot of work into atmosphere and it shows. Lastly, this brewery also showcases other breweries beers which is awesome! I plan on having the black bean pie next! Vegetarian options: They have an amazing black bean frito pie!
