There is no way that this hotel should have a 5 star rating. Here is why: - I arrived after the check in, but the room was not ready upon arrival despite providing the details of my arrival after making the reservation. Waited over an hour for the room to be ready. - Got a suite that boasted an outdoor hot-tub. Hot-tub was not filled and remote for jets did not work. - Phone in room did not work- cannot dial front desk with button marked. - Refrigerator in room did not work. - Did not have hot water at all in the shower. - Dungeon-like toilet area. Light is far too dim and shuts off way too quickly. - Odd, unsightly hole in the ceiling above shower. - Requested ice one night and it took over an hour. - Golf carts seemed like they were going to fall apart. Drivers drove fast and skidded wheels in gravel around corners while I was on the back holding on for dear life. - Scheduled a ride down to the lobby in advance. Golf cart driver arrived on time, but unfortunately I was running a little behind because we had to wait about 20 minutes for a driver to take us up to our room after a long day of skiing. After letting the driver know that I needed a few extra minutes, I came out 7 minutes past the scheduled pick-up time and the driver was gone without notifying us at all. I understand that I was late in this situation, but I think it is ridiculous that he would just disappear after 7 minutes when we waited 20 minutes on multiple occasions just to be picked up from the lobby and waited over an hour for ice- but 7 minutes was just too long for him to wait?? This also made me late for the orchestra as my companion (in heels) now had to walk all the way down to the lobby (10 minute walk). - Got room service one night. Stacked the plates and cutlery neatly out of the way inside the room after I was done. The next day after being out from about 9am to 4pm, I came back to the plates and food leftovers laying on the ground outside the door. I went inside and there were wet towels scattered around the room- some laying on the leather chairs- as if the cleaning service had finished half of the daily refresh, but then had to run off. - I would like to add that despite letting the front desk know that I would be leaving around 11-noon on 1/1/24 (they asked if I would be requiring a late checkout because of AMEX benefits), I was startled by two men who I assume were hotel maintenance (they had a golf cart) attempting to enter my room at around 9:30am on that day without knocking. When I answered they did not identify themselves they just said "I thought you were vacant" and turned around and walked off towards the golf cart. -Strange and unwelcoming staff overall. -Spa was an absolute joke. -This was an overall terrible experience and not worth the money whatsoever.

Been there for the weekend. Had bed and breakfast together. Food could have been better. Nice relaxing environment but had to keep asking assistance to fix the fireplaces and lights in the room.

PLEASE READ ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS REGARDING NOISE. I failed to look at the warnings myself, so be aware that there is literally ZERO noise isolation between rooms. Ours was a connected room and it was unbelievable just how bad it was for a hotel at this price point. I travel a lot and have never experienced anything like it at any price point period. You will hear everything, and I truly mean everything, in the unit next to you and every footstep above you. Get unlucky with families with young kids that are screaming and running around the neighboring room from 7am to midnight every day and someone inexplicably pacing around their room above you from 5am to midnight, and this will be the most miserable stay of your life like it was for us. That being said I want to note the service was incredible and they have some truly amazing people on staff. Everyone was so friendly and Alex made the start of the stay incredible when we arrived. The shuttle drivers are great and the shuttles are brand new Mercedes SUVs. Everyone is just so warm and friendly. Also the bed and pillows were top of the line in comfort. It's just really unfortunate the rooms are so poor and dirty. Our floor was filthy and our room full of spiders and crickets. It hadn't been swept or mopped in ages and was covered in crumbs and dirt. The shower drain was clogged. The fireplace was broken, but maintenance did come out right away to fix it.

I enjoyed a very lovely three night stay and felt right at home! My room was incredibly stunning and just the haven needed for rest and relaxation! I appreciated how clean and tidy staff ensured my room was every day of my stay. A bonus was one night a nice staff member offered a sachet of dried lavender. Little details like this definitely are noticed. There is a little bit or big bit of a walk from parking lot to rooms depending on your definition. Luckily friendly staff can give you a lift. I really enjoyed the hiking trails and opportunity to be outdoors enjoying fresh air and pretty views. Staff can definitely lead you to the trail heads. The spa was a delight and definitely do not pass up the tea! The presentation is lovely! :-) I really enjoyed my facial and the product line is fabulous. Dining wise, I enjoyed all the food and drinks. Service was absolutely outstanding. Despite not being walking distance to the plaza, they do offer a shuttle service or ask the front desk about their Mercedes drive program. You have an opportunity to drive one of their vehicles for four hours. I took advantage of this offer two different days and enjoyed two different electric vehicles. Ill definitely be back!
