I've only eaten here once so far, but they impressed me. Good food, good portions, and a friendly atmosphere. There were a few items I've not heard of before which makes me curious to try in the future. I had a chicken taco plate with rice and beans. The hot sauce was fairly hot and enjoyable. Maybe the chicken was a little dry, but otherwise nothing to criticize.

Shrimp Fajitas and Horchata. Burritos are good they have a no carne burrito too for vegetarian. Mary tierra, carne asada plates, shrimp cocktail that is great. Nice people and the location is near Saint Michaels.

Several months ago, I was in a rush for lunch, and did not want fast food. Mucho"s Gourmet Sandwich shop was my game plan for lunch (the Avocado Prima), however, the line was normal (and long, for GOOD REASON ). In a rush, I entered this establishment, anticipating the familiar taco bar setting of Felipe's Tacos, for a quick, reliable bite on my lunch hour. Unknowingly, I was graced by an establishment new to the space, clearly not Felipe's Tacos. Blame me for failure to notice the sign, as Felipe's Tacos was in the same space for as long as I can remember. The furniture channeled Mariscos de la Playa. Although greeted in Spanish, I do not understand bir speak the language. The staff were extremely welcoming, and kind. Based on limited time in my schedule, being hungry, and attempting to be spontaneous, I ordered a torta to go (which totaled almost $17.00), and didn't open the to go package until I got to my office parking lot. To preface, I do not appreciate the odor nor the taste of fish, quite frankly, I find both repulsive. Immediately upon opening the container, I dived in for a french fry. The tase of fish on the french fry was undeniable, accompanied by the pungent odor emitting from the styrofoam container. The entire entree reeked heavily of fish. It was evident that the cooking oil used to fry fish was also used to fry (or re-heat/heat up frozen) french fries. The meal smelled so bad that I was forced to dispose of the food, and felt bad asking for a refund or express my dissatisfied experience, acknowledging the fact that the owners are trying their best and more than likely trying to save on expenses. Regretfully, this is the United States of America, and presenting the mirage of an actual restaurant, while delivering poor food truck style service (granted Fusion Tacos is a good truck and it never fails to deliver quite literally, the best Birria tacis in Santa Fe, New Mexico, all locations are fire ), familiar only in impoverished environments, and on Airport Road in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is clearly not an appetite any civilized Santa Fean possesses, nor wishes to feed. Please consider using separate cooking oil for fish and french fries. Thank you If I could give a zero star review, I would.
