I am new to the world of decent audio equipment and I had just received my receiver. My excitement was curbed by the fact that the receiver did not come with speaker wires. (Not purchased from Lucky Dog.)Several stores in town were out. But, I have Danny from Lucky Dog to thank for saving the day. He went out of his way to get me some wire outside of working hours and at no charge with the promise that I would look them up when I was in the market for an upgrade. Which I most definitely will. High compliments your customer service, Danny!

In a wordwow! I'm grateful to the hi-fi gods for steering me to Lucky Dog Hi-Fi and co-owner Truewill Mashburn. It all started with a broken 60s-era Thorens turntable. After calling all the high-end audio stores in Santa Fe, only Lucky Dog knew the brand and how and where to get it fixed. Since then, Lucky Dog has helped me build a stellar hi-fi system that not only sounds remarkable, but is also a visual work of art. Truewill is a brilliant and supremely patient audio savant who took the time to learn about the eclectic mix of music I enjoy, to observe the physical space in which I listen to it and to consider the visual and audio aesthetics that are important to me. Taking into account all those variables, he provided what he thought were the best choices for what I could afford, giving me the pros and cons of each and making numerous trips to my house so we could hear what works best with my finicky Magnepan speakers. I am supremely pleased with the results.
