As a member of this small community, I find it unreasonable to charge such exorbitant fees. Moreover, the gym facilities and services provided do not justify the steep prices. I understand that maintaining a gym involves various expenses, so I am not suggesting that the gym should operate at a loss. However, I believe that a fair and reasonable pricing structure can be established, one that takes into account the financial limitations of our community while still allowing the gym to cover its costs and generate a reasonable profit. Living in a small town, it is crucial for businesses to consider the financial limitations of its residents. Unfortunately, the pricing structure at Lovington Wellness Center does not reflect this understanding. The high membership fees make it difficult for many individuals in our community to afford access to a gym, hindering their ability to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I would like to emphasize that our community is comprised of hardworking individuals who value their physical well-being. Further, I was disheartened to see how the outrageous prices extend to our seniors as well! It is truly criminal to impose such exorbitant fees on our elderly community members, who often have limited financial resources and rely on affordable options to stay active and healthy. Other unreasonable policies are the add-on option being limited by age, having to keep a card on file rather than allowing the member to have control over their gym renewals, and if members decide to cancel, they are required to give a written letter 30 days before their bill date(and if one ever wants to renew, another registration fee is required). All of this on top of the already pricey registration fee, club enhancement fee, and base rate fee. There may be more issues, but these are the ones Im aware of. As a result of these outrageous prices and rules, many individuals are forced to seek alternative fitness options, which is a loss for both the community and the gym itself. Its disappointing to see how ALL other gyms within our town and nearby city offer more affordable options for their members. This is thee most expensive gym out of every single one. Lovington Wellness Center should be ashamed of charging significantly higher prices for its residents, especially whilst offering similar or the same services as other gyms. I urge the management of Lovington Wellness Center to reconsider their pricing structure and make it more reasonable and inclusive for the members of our community. By doing so, they will not only attract a larger customer base but also foster a sense of support and inclusivity within our community. I hope that my feedback is taken into consideration, and that Lovington Wellness Center takes steps to rectify this issue. It is my sincere hope that the gym can become a valuable asset for ALL residents, promoting health and well-being without imposing unjust financial burdens.
