Ive been a customer of Ulta since 2004 & never had a problem until last week. I ordered a NARS tinted moisturizer because the Las Cruces store didnt have the shade I wanted. I used my bank card to pay for it. That charge went on my bank acct like normal, &, then, 2 days later, a duplicate charge for the same amount was charged to my bank card, apparently, @ Ultas corporate HQ in Illinois. I called Ulta customer sx & had the worst experience Ive ever had with customer sx which is saying something. It was obviously a call center in another country, & the guy I spoke to was extremely rude & told me I wouldnt get my money refunded unless I sent in a complete copy of my bank statement including all my personal financial information. There was no way I was going to do that, so I called the Las Cruces store, & a sweet young woman named Jennifer told me to come in, & she would try to reverse the fraudulent charge. I went in this last Tuesday & showed her the duplicate charge on my bank statement, & within about 20 minutes Jennifer had refunded my money & straightened everything out. I was never going to shop @ Ulta again, but Jennifer was so nice & helpful I changed my mind.
