I was referred to A to Z Dentistry by a family member. Today we walked out with a happy smile and I have to say satisfied with our first visit here. The dental assistant that helped us was so very polite and gentle with my 2 year old and my 13 year old. I wish I could remember her name. However, I did notice other dental assistants in the office that weren't that friendly. The Dr. was also friendly and gentle. I hope our visits continue to be positive ones.

I had my two kids appointments there today. I have to say that I’ve always had a good experience while being there and the service has always been great. I understand that with the pandemic going on there must be a different level of aggravation. But today I felt like my kids were not given the best of service. First, of all we haven’t been there for six months and did not know the office had moved I wasn’t notified or told that during the times of scheduling appointments and rescheduling appointments. I showed up at the Old office and saw the sign that they had moved. I then called the number to let them know that we will be running late because we have to drive over to the new location. We arrive at the new location walk in and was told that we needed to wait outside. At this time we were 8 minutes late. The receptionist sitting at the desk did not let the dental assistance know that we were standing out there. Someone had to have known and see us that we were standing there and no one cared to ask if we needed help. I finally waited for the receptionist to get off the phone and let her know we’re here for an appointment. The dental assistant rudely walked out and proceeded to scold us and said what you guys don’t have a phone. Without even asking or trying to figure out what was going on she snapped at us and rudely made a comment that was completely unnecessary. We were then told that we were late for the appointment obviously because we were standing out in the front of the first doors for at least 10/15 minutes and no one cared to even ask what we were doing there if we needed help, nothing. We were then told that we would have to wait another 20 minutes because the doctor went to lunch, understandable. The same nursing assistant approached us again and rudely asked if we had filled out the electronic paperwork and I told her that I didn’t because it wasn’t letting me log on and I was getting an error message all morning. I assume she didn’t believe me because she wanted to see the error message herself. She then told me in a really sarcastic tone they have to be in all capital letters. That’s information that patients should be given if they’re required to fill out the electronic paperwork. No where was I told that the family name needs to be on capital letters. I proceeded to tell her that I only received a link for one child and not the second she rudely asked for my phone number at that time I was just fed up with her. I proceeded to fill out the paperwork on my phone waited for the second link For my second child and didn’t receive it. I then walked up to the counter again there were two women sitting there and I’m standing there obviously in a place where they see me and no one asked what I needed if I need help nothing. I had to intervene to demand service and help and let them know that I did not receive the second link. The entire time being at this office I felt like my children and I were not welcome there the service was bad and rude and uncalled for. I like to restate that I always had a good experience there and it does look like there is new staff there maybe that’s what it is but the attitude and body language of the dental assistant was very rude and I did not appreciate her comment. I don’t know of any dental places or healthcare systems where you are required to have A Phone in order to receive healthcare services.
