        My family stayed here on the Ranchito Motel side. The head housekeeper Colleen was very helpful and nice. I liked that we can go to the housekeeper room if we needed anything. My family had stayed on the Colonial Motel side before and the male housekeeper was not nice and was letting street people come over too much. If you stay here I personally recommend the Ranchito Motel side. Rooms: The Ranchito Motel side is definitely cleaner with the new housekeeper Colleen. I love how neat, clean and tidy it is. Walkability: It is in the downtown area. Plenty of stores around.

        Got in 9 pm after check in... the beds at least had no bed bugs but stains on the sheets and the 1980's comforter... had to go bug the front office at 12 midnight because there was no toilet paper in the room... Google said 40 dollars a night ended up paying $62.00 should have hit motel 6 ..

        Rooms: They're updating small "motel" rooms of the 50s. Could use hand side tables at bed, a lamp. Nearby activities: Rest area gave us a brochure on what Gallup has to offer, OLD Route 66 too. Safety: We felt safe, vehicle was safe Walkability: We didn't walk about yet centrally located. Noteworthy details: Microwave, refrigerator helped us in our stay.

        Walls are thin, and there a train crossing (with horn) that runs all night which you can hear. Also, the poors were in the courtyard taking loud till after 1 am. Some stains on pillow cases and bath mat. For $45 this is a reasonable experience, just know before you go. Room itself was nice, fresh paint, kept up. Heat and AC worked great, plenty of hot water.
