Straightforward and honest. Had my vehicle looked at after almost TWO years of not using it. Didn't try to up sale, approved needed repairs before proceeding, and even addressed an engine light issue that had been present for the last 8 years!!! Gave this ol 2005 Ram an extended life for a very fair price. Thanks Ricky! I will definitely be back next time I need a hand.

Worst experience I've ever had with a mechanic.... Went to Ricky's to have a transmission replaced. A day or so after the replacement, I noticed my vehicle was leaking fluids from one of the seals. I took it back to Ricky, and he said they had not changed the seals during the swap! Because other shops were weeks out, I had him order seals & schedule the replacement. Before the seals even came in, the transmission started throwing a third gear solenoid code. At that point, I told him I wanted to warranty the transmission. He argued against that saying it was, "only third gear". Yeah, I would like to go over 45mph! He finally ordered another transmission and did a second swap. The next day my vehicle was leaking fluid AGAIN, from a different place. I fired them - don't ask why I waited so long. To his credit, he did refund the money, but I wasted an incredible amount of time on this ordeal. During the first swap they bent my brake guards (his mechanic beat them back into place with a hammer). During the second swap they broke the inner wheel well cover (they did pay for replacement). I'm still finding things that were bent or broken.
