Grand Cloudcroft Hotel

Beautiful hotel with underground parking, free breakfast, big comfortable beds and the friendliest, most accommodating staff you could ask for in a hotel.

When we come back, we will always pick this hotel over anything else! This was a great little gem in the coolest village. We came with our daughters and very fragile dog during spring break this year. After having to make a last-minute change to bring our dog with us and having to call a few times to confirm our booking (read for more info) - the front desk was helpful each and every time. They were kind, knowledgeable, and happy to assist. I originally booked through another website; after doing a little more research I realized it was cheaper to book directly with the property (be careful to not click on the wrong website, some are very close and look like the hotel website). When I called, they were beyond accommodating to make sure my reservation was the same before I cancelled through the other website that I originally used. The rooms were spacious and clean! The owner went above and beyond to make sure our experience ended on a great note and talked to me about the pool developments and also wanted my honest, true review of his hotel. That level of care is not seen in many hotels, especially the larger hotel chains. You will not be disappointed in staying here! Nearby activities: We picked this hotel because we had planned to ski at the little ski mountain there in Cloudcroft. We were too late in the season with the weather, so we drove up to Ski Apache. On a map, it looks longer than it really was; the views of the drive were beautiful. We will come back to Ski Apache and have every intention to stay back at Grand Cloudcroft.

We LOVED this hotel! I want to be selfish and keep it to myself but it definitely deserves all of the praise. We stayed for 3 nights during Spring Break. First, the staff 10/10. Every. Single. Person. was so kind and welcoming. They were attentive and just so nice. The hotel itself, so comfortable. Small enough to feel quaint but with the luxuries of a big brand. The kids enjoyed the game room, we enjoyed the deck one night, I loved seeing people sitting by the fire and enjoying the lobby. Breakfast, so good and perfect for families to have a slow morning before exploring. Rooms were comfortable, good size, our family of 4 plus pet had plenty of room and didnt feel like we were on top of each other. If I am getting realllllllly nitpicky, and I mean just finding something to complain about, the water pressure in the shower left something to be desired. But seriously, everything else more than made up for it. We will absolutely stay here again, absolutely be back to Cloudcroft, and Im confident will love it more each time.

Stayed at Grand Cloudcroft Hotel over the weekend and loved it. It was very clean and homey with all new features. Bed was comfortable and staff was professional and friendly. I usually stay in Alamogordo when visiting the area but will now start booking at GCH. Highly recommended!
