El Diamante Restaurant

Walked in the restaurant and it was all out-of-towners..no locals..First clue. We then asked the waiter what kind of margaritas they had on the rocks (looking for house/special/etc-his answer was we have frozen and on-the-rocks..Second clue. My GF ordered beef fajitas-chicken came out..Third clue..I had a sauce with my chile rellanos. I asked for extra and they charged me $1 for a very small sample (1 oz?).. Just avoid as they have too many issues that add up to a good dining experience.

The diamond on the El Diamante sign says it all. This place is an absolute gem! So thankful we got to give it a try while visiting from Colorado.

My family and I went into this restaurant not too long ago. I ordered the Cowboy Ribeye medium rare. It is a 2 in thick bone in ribeye. Aside from the fact that it took 2.5hrs for us to get our food the steak came out over well done butterflied on a skillet looking like shoe leather. My sister order the fajitas and they came out cold on a skillet. The restaurant kept telling us that they were out of everything. Frankly the cook has no clue how to cook a steak. You don't butterfly a 2 in ribeye and anyone that orders it won't want it well done either. The experience was extremely poor.
