My check in was great the guy working the front desk was frendly. Beds were perfect so quiet 10 out 10 will stay again price was normal for Carlsbad

The hotel staff is extremely friendly on every contact. More towels, reminding people to do early entry tickets to Carlsbad etc. Plenty of parking, the room was clean, I wish I could have got a suite, as the room was double queen, good size but still tight with 4. The corner chair is really not usable as you star at the bed vs tv. The Microwave and fridge with freezer could hold 3 water bottles provided nice and cold drinks. TV could be a little bigger and some channels poor reception. Don't get rooms 113 to 117 near the pool, it's very loud. The pool is very small, 6 kids in it and pretty crazy. No hot tub which so much hiking would have been nice. The breakfast is minimal hot breakfast. Didn't care for the biscuit and gravy at all. You can hear people from the hallway but not really from other rooms. The price was very good compared to other hotels. All restaurants in general are subpar in Carlsbad good luck with food in the area. Would stay here again. Considering the Hyatt next door wants +100more a night.
