Travelodge by Wyndham Belen

Housekeeping woke us at 3am, shampooing a carpet upbove my room! When I complained about it, the desk clerk stated, "Oh, well, we cater to the railroaders, so when they ask for housekeeping, we do it." So everyone else can just put up with it? Guess I'll give my business elsewhere when we stay in Belen.

The diner is overpriced and and Arby's sucks

The pictures shown are good representations of the room where we stayed. Everything was clean and the bed comfortable. Getting into the ice machine room took help from an employee because I wasn't understanding the lock system. We weren't equally impressed with the diner. It was clean at our table but wasn't clean in the food prep area. If they are open 24 hours a day there is surely some down time to deep clean. My scrambled egg was a hard cooked fried egg chopped up by the cook. Our waffle was too cold to melt the butter.I flipped it over to the side against the plate and it was a little warmer. We won't be eating there again.

Rooms are very clean. Beds are comfortable. Service was great. When we came to New Mexico I will stay there again.
