Charlie's Pump & Well Services

We used them long ago when I believe charlie was the owner/operator and then 2 times recently but seems like it's different family members running the place at different times so it's a bit unpredictable. They were better priced than the giant Rodgers operation, and I didn't have a very good experience with them.

Although they were in and out on the installation they didn't dispose of the old tank. For a 200 dollar charge for 30 minute job they could at least done that.

They came to my house and got my pump and well working. They took only about 30-45 minutes $140.00. The next morning I wasn't getting water, so I called Lynnrd back and he said "who is this?" After I explained who I was and what was wrong. He told me he was busy on a job and he would call me back.. he wasn't calling me back so I sent him a text. He told me to try a new check valve, and good luck..

Seemed good, but didn't tell me that they charged $135 for an initial look at my well until AFTER he was done looking at it. That's a steep fee for 15 minutes of looking at stuff. At least tell me about the charge before you come out.

DO NOT USE this company!! We had a pressure switch die and Leonard (Charlie's son) replaced it to the tune of $202.16. One month later, it failed so we called Charlie's again. Leonard told us there was NO warranty on the parts or labor and charged us another $250.00 which Leonard demanded BEFORE the work was even done!! He does not stand behind his work and gave my husband some B.S. story that ants may have gotten into the switch and destroyed the contacts. Really?? In the middle of winter?? After only one month?? I called another company who told me the part would have been warrantied for 90 days and their labor for one year. We got taken advantage of and will never call Charlie's again. I'm sure this was a reputable business when Charlie was alive. Unfortunately, his son, Leonard, does not have the same ethical business practice.
