Very nice hotel with great front desk team. This Holiday Inn has be under going a complete renovation for a while and it appears to be nicely done.
We stayed in a one bedroom suite that had been completely renovated. Overall, the room is very nice. There are several big pluses that we really liked.
First, the two 55 LG TVs, which made watching the North Carolina State Wolfpack reach the final four this weekend a very enjoyable experience.
Second, we noticed the room was very clean with all new hardwood cabinets and there was ample closet space.
Third, we truly enjoyed was the comfortable sleep we had each night and that was due to the awesome new bed.
Fourth, the refrigerator actually kept everything nice and cool . In fact, if you turn the cooling dial to max, it will keep your ice frozen for a couple of days.
The restaurant and bar had a few hiccups, but with a new manger in place that should be fixed soon.
I saw a few reviews about lack of parking. I found no evidence of that even with a full hotel there was parking all the way around the building.
Its obvious that the General Manager, Shelli has made a lot of positive changes from overseeing a wonderful renovation to hiring team members that ensure every guest has a positive and pleasant experience every night of every stay.
Then theres Wendy! Wendy is the night audit and she is an absolute joy. She is pleasant person with a positive attitude to match. She even signed my birthday card and wrote a nice little note that was presented to me upon check-in. Very cool touch!!!!
Oh yes, I was greeted with a smile and a birthday card when I checked in. Thats what great leaders do in the hospitality industry, they ensure ever guest is made to feel special!
Wendy spoke highly of her GM and its obvious why! Keep up the good work Shelli..

We were very pleased. When we arrived for our extended stay, there was still a bit of remodeling being done, but now it looks completed. The staff has gone over and above with being friendly, professional and accommodating. What ever we needed, they took care of it.
The hotel is close to the airport and restaurants, but not close enough to walk. The airport shuttle which services 4 or 5 hotels generally took only 10 minutes to pick us up. The restaurant is extra but the food is good and cheaper and quicker than ubering to someplace else. The hotel was always full and quiet and since it was just remodeled, everything looks and feels new and fresh. We are looking forward to our next visit.

I've stayed here multiple times. Always good. My only complaint this time is the bathroom was a bit small.
