      image The Bair foundation provides treatment foster care to youth in foster care that have medical or emotional needs beyond what CYFD is capable of handling on their own. Basically they are foster care special forces.
      Their office is small and filled with a few dedicated staff who make a large impact. They have the ability to certify foster care resource families just like CYFD and the certification is good with both Bair and CYFD.
      Their foster youth have special needs which are quite demanding. Many resource families find they cannot handle it after a while and so they are constantly in need of new families to help.
      So far our experience with Bair has been great. They are responsive and seem to really care.
