I hired Oakmont Advisory Group to be my financial advisors many years ago when they were called Hicks and Associates. The hiring process took quite awhile as I only gave them a portion of my sef-directed IRA so I could see first-hand what they were about. I was interested in portfolio performance but also costs and customer interaction. They excelled at all three so they took over my total IRA funds and I have been totally pleased with their performance to date. They take being a fiduciary very seriously and I am convinced that they really do have my best interests at heart. I get advice, not sales pitches and that is a refreshing approach indeed!
