    I called and reserved 2 cooling units for July 14 through July 16 rental. I received confirmation of my rental reservation for the 2 units via email and my credit card was used as a pending charge to hold the reservation. On the Wednesday afternoon before my Friday rental I recd a phone call from the location saying they don't have any of these units and haven't had them for years. Employee offered no options. I told employee that I have written confirmation and they need to figure this out on their end. She tersely responded " what do you want me to do, call around to find one??" And she blamed their call center for not checking the inventory. The finger pointing was not a good move from the customers view. At this point my faith in United Rental was gone. I had to do the work again of finding units. I wasn't about to wait for them to call me back with ...too bad, Everyone's out of them because of the hot weather thus weekend". I called my tent rental company and they gave my the phone number of Sunbelt Rental and said they probably have some. Thankyou to my tent company for doing more for me than United Rental on options! I called Sunbelt, they were friendly, apologetic and got me set up with 2 wonderful units! I spoke with manager of United Rental and explained my frustration, told him that the way they should have handled this terrible situation for their customer was... called and found 2 units with another company, and reserve them in my name when they discovered this problem, then called me to apologize, but tell me they already found units and reserved them for me. That would have been the way to handle this! I would have remained with United Rental if that happened, but it didn't. .Manager said he hoped I would try them again in the future and he could see what he could do. Nope!! Thank you Sunbelt Rentals and AA/Garcia tents for saving my event!!!!
