The Casa de Sueos is a remarkable historic Spanish-Pueblo Revivial style Albuquerque landmark dating from 1938, when artist J.R. Willis commissioned W. Balay to construct the La Miradora House and Apartments, a 21-unit artist colony . Willis specialized in Southwest landscapes, photography, and Native American paintings. Our particular apartment, the Ivy Cottage, was spacious and clean, with a very private walled patio area. Currently, the property offers an oasis of quiet, art appreciation, privacy, and respect for the natural surroundings and Southwest Native American worlds. Their breakfast is not your usual cheap Best Western donut experience. They offer a generous and genuine New Mexico breakfast in their gorgeous sun room. I forgot to mention- the property very close to the Old Town district of Albuquerque. Great options for meals and historical experiences. AND, the spa is remarkably well maintained.

This place is amazing. We stayed in the Rose unit. It was recently refurbished. Mini kitchen area with microware, mini fridge and Keurig. The room is very modern, but decorated in historic southwest style. The room had heated tile floors in the bathroom. Location is close to Old Town, aquarium, botanical garden and museums. We walked to Old Town. Staff is very accommodating. A full sit down breakfast is included, which is individually prepared off the menu. The grounds and gardens are beautiful. The only problem is the TV had a weak signal. There were high winds while we were there, that could have cause the issue. Our room also had a private outdoor patio.

Beautiful! I was in the Willis 'little house', which was where JR Willis lived. Fireplace included! The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is amazing.

Casas de Suenos was wonderful. The pictures do not do it justice. Nowadays people have the option to stay in a hotel or rent a home like an AirBnB. This place offers you the best of both! You have the amenities and support that come with a hotel as well as the comfort and privacy that cone with a vacation rental property. I cannot say enough good things about it. They have some of the best customer service. I felt like a guest in their hone rather than just another customer. The location was excellent and it was easy to find. The grounds were beautifully manicured and the hot tub/spa was beautiful. Anytime I go back to Albuquerque I know where I am staying.
