My father lived at Camino for approximately 18 months. He had assisted living care but was still quite independent. I was very sad that I had to move him to a different facility because his health deteriorated quickly. I am so thankful for the kind, caring staff at Camino. My father was a grumpy old man, but they embraced him. He didn't participate in activities, but they embraced him. He kept to himself, but they embraced him. When I needed extra help to care for my father, they helped me. When I was worried about him, they comforted me. I am so thankful for Camino.

Having family at Camino Retirement is something less to worry about. The staff are friendly and caring. They go beyond to make sure residents are happy and safe - and is great to have peace of mind. If you are considering a place for your loved ones, I highly recommend you call and take a tour.

Today is my moms year anniversary at Camino and I just wanted to thank you and the whole staff for everything you have done for her and my whole family. My mom has really thrived there with the care and social support she receives daily and it gives me so much peace of mind. I am able to enjoy more of a relationship with her and be less of a case manager, which also means I can focus on my toddler and work more. She has friends and activities and medical help that keep her stable and happy for the first time in years. I know you all have a hard job, especially during COVID, and I know that my mom can be a handful, but you all are doing a great job. I hope she has many more years ahead of her at Camino and I hope you know how much you help your residents and families.

Tyson, we feel one of our strengths at Camino is our long-tenured staff that provides compassionate care to our senior residents. Andrea has been our Wellness Director for over 15 years. We find it can be helpful to hire family members who are known, dedicated workers. When staffing was challenging during covid, our long-time staff were key to our success in caring for residents. We were disappointed you left without notice during the height of covid when we most needed staff. We wish you all the best.

Rachel, thank you for your review and acknowledgement of our devoted Camino staff. Improving the lives of our seniors and resetting the relationship away from a caregiver role back to a mother-daughter role is what we hope will occur. So glad mom has made friends and is happy here. Again, thank you for sharing!
