A lovey restaurant indeedtasteful and comfortable. The greeters were engaged with other things, so it took a while to check in. We were told it would be about a 45 minute wait. We opted for immediate seating at the bar, which seemed to come as a surprise to the greeters. The woman at the bar who took care of us had her hands full with pouring wine, washing and drying wine glasses, and serving others at the bar, but she couldnt have been more pleasant. She is a champion multi-tasker! Our food was less than hot when it was served, which rendered my Pecan Pesto Pasta gummy. That plus the flat-ish flavor made the dish less than appealing. The wine selection is entirely from Lescombes winery, and there is an amazing variety, which makes me think that they use ingredients from other vineyards. I opted for one of the Cabs. It was flavorful, but thinner than expected. My husband ordered a Cab Franc that had a metallic aftertaste to me. Clearly, the restaurant was as interested in selling bottles of their wine as in serving food. I did not look at the prices.
