It's nice to have a Sav-On pharmacy in the acme store. I can do my shopping and pick up my drugs at the same time andSave time and energy from driving all around town.  It's quite convenient.

The pharmacist there on Sunday, January 5, 2019 was amazing! He went out of his way to get a prescription filled and even stayed after time. I think his name was Donald. Complements And gratitude to him

I have been going to the ACME/Savon pharmacy for prescriptions for several years. Started out as preferred pharmacy for my prescription plan. The pharmacist (and staff) there was very good and accommodating so I kept going there. When he left the new staff was still very good. Along the way, the pharmacy's online system just became horrible. They removed critical information, like how may tablets were in the prescription being filled and the status of prescriptions waiting for some authorization. Thus you had to call them to see if they received the prescription or was it waiting for the medication to come in or waiting to get the physician's approval for refills. This week, their electronic interface to physicians to send prescriptions and refill authorizations to the pharmacies broke. When I submitted prescriptions to be refilled using their on-line system last Saturday to be refilled, they did not tell me there was a problem. One needed refill authorization so when the prescription never showed up online, I called on Monday and was told "we are waiting for the physician to respond." I called again on Wednesday when it was still missing and was told "we are waiting for the physician to respond." I called the doctor's office and they said they would make sure it was done. On Friday I called again and this time I was told that the system was broken and the physician had to call (phone) of fax the prescription to them. I called the doctor's office again and explained the situation. It is Sunday and there is still no information about the prescription. We have pills for Sunday and part of Monday left. Looks like I have to go get a written prescription on Monday (30 miles each way). Too bad there are not MINUS stars for rating a pharmacy. The staff can be as helpful as they can be but if the parent company, ACME/SAVON, is just completely inept and impossible, the problems just never really get fixed. I would immediately change to another pharmacy but the other large pharmacies in the area have issues as well. Like not being able to get the online system to recognize prescriptions purchased there and the IT helpers are totally dumbfounded by the problem. Or the wholesaler just does not show up one week with deliveries (before COVID-19). Or I an too far from the pharmacy to change my prescriptions there but they are the closest store to me that carries the prescription brand I need.
