    On August 8, 2023 I reported a water leak in my home. J. Byrne was my agent. They notified Vanguard and I was told that someone would contact me to schedule an appointment , William never called me. I called back and William called me 5 minutes later. He came out to visiti with my contractor who explained them what had to be performed in order find the outside leak where water was coming into the home. it was not an easy problem. Shortly thereafter an engineer called me in August to come out and visit. Once again my contractor came over to meet him and explain the situation. After calling Bynre Agency and Vanguard multiple time I was always told they were waiting for the engineers report. It's not the last week of September and I still never heard anything they were still waiting on that report according to them and I told them work was beginning in October. I was told you need to fix the problem before it gets worse and we will continue to work on this end. The work started October 16th and completed November 3rd. During this time I received my contractor sent photos every step of the way about the water damage from outside. All of my plywood was black (after shingles pulled off). There were openings everywhere for the water to get in. He also sent 3 videos of what he saw and what he had to do fix things. All sent to Vanguard. Long story short it's now November 16th... they are still supposedly waiting for an engineers report from August, 3 months ago. I had to pay the contractor 15,550. Worse yet because the carrier, Lloyd of London basically cancelled me as soon as soon as I filed the claim I have to get new home coverage. the policy expires on november 30th, 2023. Problem is no one will make a quote until this case is closed. Frustrated, angry does not describe my feelings. they agreed they had all of the info they needed. I will probably need an attorney because even if they pay for this I'm sure they will find a way to get of paying the amount less deductible. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET THE RUN AROUND... NEVER, EVER, EVER, CONTACT THIS AGENCY.

Michele LeGrande AIC | Liability Examiner is an absolute hack, One of our vehicles was stolen off our property back in June and it was absolutely nothing but a head on fight to the end. I was called a liar among other claims made against myself. I jumped through every hoop imaginable to provide what was needed then given excuse after excuse of why the claim was denied. Almost 4 years I have been paying on this insurance not one claim ever made. The time comes up i really do need them they arent there a giant game of how can we not pay... Absolutely deplorable customer service and representation. Also found myself constantly chasing them down for updates its a shame what this racket has become honestly. I guess you cant expect everyone to have the same principles you do when it comes to business and customer service. Basically to sum it up if you're a small business look elsewhere because these people won't look out for you.

    We had damage to our house and did exactly what we were to do, called the insurance agency and they sent Kevin R McDowell from "Vanguard Adjusters who did not come for 5 days after our call. Now a week and a half after this Kevin came to the home nothing has been done. No estimate, no information whatsoever. What is even more maddening is the fact that Kevin indicated to my mother, and 86 year old woman unable to use her bedroom until repairs are done that he would have the estimate done in 2 days because, and I quote, "...he knows how important it is for her to have use of the room..." Yes, Kevin from Vanguard was so taken by her damage that now 10 days later he still has submitted no estimate. I would never have my insurance agency use this company again and if it is the only adjuster they use, well then we are about to look for a new insurer. DO NOT STAND FOR YOUR INSURER TO UTILIZE VANGUARD OR YOU WILL GET THE SAME LIP SERVICE WE RECEIVED AND NO ESTIMATE 10 DAYS AND COUNTING.
