Insights Counseling Center Gilligan/Kline Telehealth & In-Office

This center is great and really helps me! The staff is so caring and receptive. I came in with a specific issue in mind but received help on that and much more. I highly recommend Insights and their staff.

I just cant praise Insights Counseling Center enough for their extremely professional and courteous counseling. Their clinicians are highly skilled mental health professionals trained to provide counseling and psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families and groups. Regarding Kasi Legrand- Treated me as though I had no schedule/ time constraints of my own. No CBT techniques given, frequent cancellations, showed up 10-15 min late without any notice via email or phone, and texted me late at night to cancel sessions.The one time I asked her (after many, many instances) to please not change and cancel our sessions 2 minutes beforehand (she had been doing so the night before late at night, and the hours/ minutes before), she dropped me as a client immediately, lashed out, and told me to see another therapist. Told me she imagined I had an idea of her schedule- why would I KNOW why SHE was going into the office??? I am not her secretary. And she was prioritizing other in person clients over me. That is the mark of a bad therapist. I would give 0 stars if I could, someone with this mentality is not fit to be helping anyone who needs it. She is a THERAPIST, I am not supposed to be imagining her schedule or magically aware of it. As a PROFESSIONAL and an ADULT, it is your responsibility to not only give someone notice, but do it in ADVANCE because THEY HAVE THINGS TO DO IN THEIR DAY TOO. I am disgusted by the selfishness, callousness, and overall unprofessional demeanor exhibited by this "therapist". I am never one to write bad reviews but this experience was the worst I've ever had to deal with. She would go on her phone during our sessions (reflected in her glasses) and give me generic responses like "that's good" while clearly not listening to me or making me feel comfortable/ heard in any way. My previous review was hidden/ taken down. If this happens again, or if someone wants to verify if what I am saying is true, I'd be happy to show you the screenshots of her rude text messages lashing out at me for standing up for myself, and tell you about the conversation I had with the manager of this place. The only good thing I gained from this experience was the management/ staff taking my experience seriously. I would recommend ANY ONE ELSE APART FROM KASI, DO NOT SEE HER IF YOU WANT ACTUAL HELP BECAUSE SHE IS COMPLETELY INEFFECTIVE AND ON TOP OF THAT, RUDE. She actually made my mental health/ stress WORSE during a time period where I was going through a serious health diagnosis and severe life changes- did not help me in ANY way.

This therapist exhibits a cold demeanor towards her clients. Is consistently late, doesn’t offer any prior explanation and leaves you waiting 10-15 min, cancels last minute, doesn’t respect your schedule (assumes if you are on medical leave your schedule is always open and that you should cater around hers). Doesn’t dig deeper, offers 0 solutions or help or tools. I have had to deal with a recent epilepsy diagnosis and major life changes for that, all she could say to me is “that’s nice” while I saw her distractedly GOING ON HER PHONE (reflected in glasses) during our sessions. FaceTimed me from her car once to do a session. Oh and here’s a quote from our session once she was ONCE AGAIN late and had moved this session once prior (one of many that had been changed or moved). “It took me too long to take my child to work during the snow, I can’t meet today” she tells me this TWO MINUTES prior to our session. Then tells me I should have somehow imagined the reason she was going to work was to see an in person client and honored their in Person session over mine. Sorry, with my medications, side effects of those, and everything else I am going through, I do not have the bandwidth to “imagine” anyone else’s schedule. Horrible people like this should not be employed in the field of counseling- they should find a profession that serves their entitled personality and doesn’t add ADDITIONAL STRESS to someone already dealing with a lot. SHE MADE ME WORSE RATHER THAN BETTER AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE BECAUSE SHE HAS NO IDEA WHAT SHE IS DOING AND IS EXTREMELY SELFISH AND RUDE WHEN CALLED OUT AND ASKED TO OWN HER BEHAVIOR. I can’t stand such nasty people and I need to warn anyone else who decides to go to insights
