      image Called Optimum corporate to swap router since had water damage, they suggested i can swap out at Xfinity Store by Comcast. Called the Store in Woodbridge and they clearly refused to swab out for me. Person who was helping me would not also transfer to her manager. Changing router is no brainer but she kept insisting that the technician had to check even after i told them it has water damage from the flood.

      image Went to drop off my router, cable box and camera. To find out that my card was being charged an extra $5-10 every month for the camera. And had to pay the difference since I was returning it.But when I first called to join xfinity the representative had told and clarified with me several times that the camera was a FREE promotional add on with no additional cost. That was the only reason the camera was in my home. Because it was pitched to me as FREE. The representative repeatedly told me I might as well get it because I was only interested in wifi so that the camera would be a FREE PROMOTIONAL ADD ON. when I found out that it was a LIE the women in the store told me that there was no way that it could be added on without my permission. Obviously I was upset. Even though I had explained to her that it was pitched to me as free, she basically told me oh well to call customer service.. So of course I did. After 2HOURS on the phone and 5 different representatives later they told me that even though one of THEIR REPRESENTATIVES had LIED and made FRAUDULENT CLAIMS AND CHARGES to my account and card that there was nothing they could do. They took the difference from the camera and I couldn’t get my money back. Xfinity is trash. They let their representatives tell customers lies and don’t help you whatsoever. I 1000% DO NOT RECOMMEND FUTURE CUSTOMERS TO JOIN XFINITY, unless you want unauthorized payments charged to your card.
