Madison Resort Wildwood Crest

Good morning, I will keep this review brief. I had left a cash deposit in September 2023 for a 5 night reservation during mid-May 2024 (Sun-Fri) at the Royal Hawaiian Resort located in Wildwood Crest. Mr. Lester Klayman was the proprietor at that time. Late January 2024 I found out that the hotel was sold to the Madison Resorts LLC. I sent a general inquiry via email in regards to the reservation on file. Justin the General Manager promptly replied. Unfortunately the 2024 rates are too pricey compared to Lester's previous rates. I contacted management on the phone that same day and I just received the refund by mail for my September 2023 deposit in total. Many thanks to management. Also I would like to thank Lester (the previous proprietor) for his professionalism, dedication, devotion over the years. We will miss you. A big thank you also to Joey Contino (Wildwood Video Archive) for keeping us abreast of the current developments in the Wildwoods including Cape May. Thanks to your YouTube videos I found out that the Royal Hawaiian sold in December last year. Keep those videos coming! The warm weather is on the way, enjoy the summer by the shore! We've been working with the teams at Madison to get this place up and running. They've seen a lot of set backs but wow is it coming together. Great people to work with. Wishing them all the luck!

Weve been Madison in Cape May and for many years at other properties nothing has been different about this property. Just really good people all the way around.

Colin on the construction team is one of the most down to earth men Ive met. Took the time to explain what the owner was doing to make the property first class. What an awesome person, a testament to the owners talent hiring staff.
