Update to this review 05.21.2022 - We just had the waterline fixed yesterday leading to the outside sillcock. After seeing the quality work that this plumber did to not only fix the leak but also stabilize the waterline which wasn't previously done by Surfside I would be concerned about other corners Surfside might cut. I have used Surfside Mechanical on three separate occasions on two different properties. The first time was great when we needed our hot water heater replaced. The second time was at our new home where we had multiple small plumbing changes made including a change out of our bathtub spout, a change to our hot/cold washing machine shutoff valves and two sillcock and water shut off valves for our outside water lines. The third visit we had a gas line run for our outside grill to the deck. All in all, we invested well over 3k for these jobs. The work seemed fine at first. It was during the 3rd visit for the gas line that problems started to arise. The connection to the sillcock on the front of the house sprung a leak on the inside of the house. The lines are bled/blown out for the winter and outside hoses are disconnected. The business owner did replace the part during the gas line installation. The gas line was installed without a problem but the permits were never picked up and left open for months. The township called Surfside and did not receive any callbacks. We ended up picking up the permits ourselves and scheduled the inspection. We fast forward to the current day where the 2nd outside waterline now has a leak at the connection point again on the inside of the house in a heated room. The business owner was made aware of this and stated it would not be a warranty repair. I understand a warranty but I also understand quality customer service especially for repeat customers. The overall customer service experience is lacking here. The fix is easy and I would think for a repeat customer who used to recommend Surfside to family and friends would send someone out for the quick fix. I unfortunately have lost faith in this company and would suggest you move on to someone local. The kicker of it is we didnt need the sillcocks replaced but I wanted a water shutoff valve on the lines instead of having to shut down the entire house if something went wrong. I understand Surfside is extremely busy taking on larger jobs but please remember the little guy and where you started to grow your business to what it has become to the present day. I do not take pleasure in writing a negative review at all but want to let others know about our experience. I do believe they can without a doubt do better. I would not use this company. Called twice yesterday and left messages with the service because we had no heat. The service both times said theyd give the message to a technician. Never got a call. Heat was fixed by another company.

They couldnt be bothered to call back. I guess some jobs are just too small. I had a leaky bathroom sink. I was going to ask about a bathroom remodel.
