We had the pleasure of having Cory service our bathtub plumbing needs. He did the job required, cleaned up after he was done, and was personable even after having to climb our 15th stairs numerous times to get to our upstairs bathroom. We will definitely request his services in the future, if needed. Gus & Joan Dante

I have been a customer of Stryker's for over 40 years and have never had any issues. I needed to replace my hot water heater this week, and as usual had an excellent experience. Corey and Sean were the absolute best! Professional, respectful of my home and knowledgeable. Highly recommend! Thank you so much Corey and Sean!

Well I contacted you all as you suggested, & spoke to the plumbing director.. I remember being told by the employee that his name was Ryan. But in other news, today the clients daughter HL came from out of state to visit, & she was moving some furniture around & I was in the kitchen & she came into the kitchen holding something up & it was my ring!!! So I apologize for thinking that one of your employees stole it. I'm sure that you have her contact info, she could verify this. Well it was not stolen, but it was lost & found, which I'm so happy about. Again, my apologies for being accusatory. I did erase that other review. Service: Plumbing leak detection

We first hired Stryker to replace a touchless kitchen faucet. They sent a lovely female plumber, Autumn, who was efficient and neat. (We never saw Autumn again, despite requesting her.) The next time we called Stryker was to repair a Toto toilet. First, we were admonished for even buying a Toto. Then we were subjected to an unnecessary diatribe on what it would take and cost to repair the toilet, the latter of which was quite high. The last and final time we hired Stryker was to replace our hot water heater. After taking multiple photos, we were told they would install a tall, narrow heater due to room constraints. Instead they showed up with a short, wide unit, which took some doing and damage - to get into place. To add insult to injury, the heater leaked within 24 hours, necessitating a weekend service call. Then the install failed inspection because the vent pipe was installed too close to some PVC pipes. (Isnt it the plumbers responsibility to be aware of code restrictions?) As a result, the vent pipe needed to be replaced at our expense with a double wall, insulated pipe. Plus they demanded payment before the follow-up inspection. NOT kosher. The New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs Rule: N.J.A.C. 13:45A-16.2(a)10.ii states: "For inspection on construction permits for: building, electric, plumbing, fire protection or elevator, final payment to the contractor is not required to be made before a final inspection is performed." The final straw? In order to get the hot water heater into place, the installer needed to remove a transmitter that operates dampers on our HVAC system. In replacing the transmitter, he wired it incorrectly, causing it to short out. That cost us yet another $250 from our HVAC contractor, for which we received no compensation. Unless you enjoy being admonished, insulted and paying for work prior to inspection approval, we suggest you look elsewhere.
