This gym a couple years ago was fantastic, always clean, equipment was in good shape, all the machines were always in working order but this last year things have really gone down hill, Ab machine in the ab room has been broken since the middle of October its now April, it takes months for cables to be repaired, the mirror is currently being held together by Masking tape, its getting dirty nothing gets cleaned as much as it used too, machine attachments are falling apart, just kinda getting old thinking about switching gyms, tired of waiting 40 minutes for a cable flys because the other one for whatever reason isnt getting fixed.

This is a pretty good gym for people who live in the area and don't want to drive to one of the bigger gyms on routes 70/38/30/etc. The staff is great and friendly. You can pretty much get a full workout with all the equipment available although there are some pretty basic things missing that almost every other gym I've ever been a member of has, like a calf raise machine, a standing squat machine, and a decline chest press. There are a couple of other issues I wish they could address like: The men's locker room needs better ventilation because it often smells like raw sewage (worse than just p**p, like an actual sewer). Lots of teens standing around socializing and taking up equipment, which is frustrating. I wish they were open a little later on the weekends; 7pm is a little early for my schedule.

The staff at this location exudes professionalism and hospitality. I appreciate the unique design of Planet Fitness, which fosters a sense of belonging and commitment among its members to achieve their fitness objectives. My experience at this facility left me feeling proud to be a part of the Planet Fitness community.

I NEVER take the time to write reviews because who cares?! Right!? Well the experience I had here was ABSURD and warranted a review! I go very early and shower/get dressed there after, before I head to work. For the past few weeks, the showers and changing stalls have been DISGUSTING. After noticing that trash wasn't being removed for WEEKS at a time, I said something to the front desk employee. She said she would mention something... then again a few weeks later, still gross.... asked front desk person again... she tells me that the evening people are supposed to be cleaning it and they must not be and to call the manager.... I didn't have time to call so I let it go. A few days ago I was so disgusted by the MILDEW stained floors and the globs of hair in the shower stalls AND the SAME trash that still remained in the trash bag...so I asked up front and she again told me to call the manager, but that she was out so to wait a few days... Today, when I not only saw that the trash can STILL had the SAME TRASH in it from 3 WEEKS ago ANDDDDDD a bloody pad just chilling there I lost it. I then took the trash can to the front desk and simply set it on the counter and said 'its been 3 weeks, this is disgusting' and walked out. I figured maybe THEN they would see that something needed to be done. I finally made the time to call the NASTY manager a few hours later. She told me I was INTIMIDATING the staff because I THREW the trash can in the face of an employee (::insert crying laughing emoji several times here::) I laughed and stated that I simply placed it on the counter for someone to address it.... she then said " Why would we waste a trash bag if its not full?" (SERIOUSLY??????? Just because a bag isn't FULL doesn't mean it doesn't need to be changed occasionally, ESPECIALLY in a WOMANS LOCKER ROOM!) I told her my feelings on that and her response was 'well if you are really unhappy here, you know you CAN go somewhere else!" To which I told her 'should I also tell that to the several dozen other folks who are signing a petition to have the board of health come in and inspect that location?' and her response was 'yes if they don't like it they can leave too!" COOOOOOLLL!!! Its pretty interesting to have a MANAGER tell you to GO ELSEWHERE when you are simply drawing attention to a health issue. GOOD TO KNOW! FELICIA YOU AND YOUR ATTITUDE ARE JUST AS DISGUSTING AS THAT SHOWER STALL THAT YOU 'CLAIM' is CLEANED.' END OF RANT.
