Dr. Todd P. Krell, MD | Westfield, NJ

I've been a patient of Dr. Krell for a few years now. First off, great doctor, and great staff. I've had severe knee pain for a many years due to arthritis. Dr. Krell started off with cortisone shots. After the second shot Dr. Krell decided to not give me anymore shots, instead he sent me for an MRI so he can get a better picture of my knee that doesn't show up on an x-ray. He saw the damage to my knee other than the arthritis. In August 2023 he performed a knee arthroscopy. Before the surgery, my knee pain was so bad where at times it was hard to even walk. And sitting for long periods of time was even worse. Since the surgery I have been pain free. No swelling, no stiffness, NO PAIN for 7 months. It's so weird not having pain in my left knee. Never thought I would feel this comfort ever again. Thank you Dr. Krell!!!

I was a patient there like a year ago. At my first visit, they took an xray of my knee. It was towards the end of the day and I felt that Dr Krell was in a rush. He never showed me the xray, didnt really explain anything to me just asked me where it hurt, told me to lie down and injected a Cortisone shot. The cortisone shot did work for about 3 months or so but it was so rushed that I thought where is he sticking this needle into? I was opened to the idea of knee replacement but he told me that I wasnt ready for it. In the meantime I had gotten more cortisone shots and even gel shots but all were done blindedly. I went to a knee arthritis place in wall township where they not only take the time to explain my knee joints on each leg but they also scan your knee where u can see it on a monitor and where they r placing the needle. Btw my knee that Dr Krell was working on was bone on bone! Although this place is an hour away..its well worth it! Oh and did I mention that they also put a spray on where the injection will be placed? So NO PAIN!! I will never go to Dr Krell again..

Dr. Krell is always patient and answers all questions He doesnt recommend surgery unless it is necessary. I would highly recommend.

Dr. Kelly is a wonderful, caring, highly knowledgeable and compassionate doctor. He has treated me for numerous ailments over many years and performed surgeries on my hands and knees. I strongly recommend Dr. Krell and his staff for any orthopedic issues
