If it wasnt for the horrible customer service of the secretaryMariawe would give Dr. Sangosse at least 4 stars. Maria is extremely rude and disrespectful. She has no patience and is unwilling to work with the patient. She hangs up on you and speaks to you as if you are an enemy and not a patient in need of care. Dr. Sangosse should fire her and seek a secretary who has customer service skills!

Customer service is absolutely GARBAGE. MARIA, front desk receptionist, shows no type of grace nor courtesy to the sick patients that call. It's TRULY unfortunate because SHE is the only person you can get in contact with at the office. I hate coming here, i can not wait to switch pcp's. Dr. Sangosse had a fabulous team a while back, i don't know where he's picked up his new staff. Oh and must i say? she hung up in my face after i caught her in a lie.. Thanks Sangosse & team. I truly feel taken care of :)))))

My mother and my brother are both patients of this doctor and he is an excellent doctor and so is the nurse practitioner. The reception staff is hit or miss. I am my mother's primary caretaker and therefore very involved in all her doctors appointments and I must say that dealing with these ladies in the reception area is less than a stellar experience. They are usually rude, impatient and short with you on the phone even if you are asking a simple question. Maria is by far the rudest of the bunch as per my experience with her in person and on the phone. I have chosen to get my primary care elsewhere because dealing with the reception staff at this office is absolutely terrible and if I am spending my hard earned money for healthcare, copays, etc, I expect the whole experience to be pleasant from the reception staff, to nurses and doctors. I will not accept anything less and you should not either.

This is the ONLY primary care office where I KNOW a secretary of the name MARIA/MARIE will VOLUNTARILY HANG UP ON YOU if she does not like the questions you have. As the person stationed at the front desk..customer care..patient care..should be your priority. Why is it that everytime I finish speaking with this employee I am left feeling disrespected, lesser than, and even more confused than I once was. Marie will kill this business, I promise. Me & the *MAJORITY of my family come to this office for the stellar care of Dr. Sangosse, but as time progresses its starting to become very difficult to look past the vile behavior of his front desk help. Change is needed and I want Dr. Sangosse to KNOW this is the second time in the last 6-8 months your employee has hung up while I was in the middle of my sentence. Absurd.
