The folks there are very nice and genuinely concerned but I felt that the Italian language classes were far too academic for the casual student interested in speaking Italian. The program seems to be geared to folks who what to learn about Italian rather than learn Italian. For the most part the lessons consisted of reviewing pages of homework. In the Beginner class it appeared that the previous knowledge level of the students might have been a little mismatched.
