The service for brunch is non-existent. Constantly waiting to be served and didn't feel any hospitality from the staff. The menu is very different from their website, very few a la carte items and they cannot let you order anything from the $45 prix fixe menu as a la carte. Food is decent to good, but there are too many better options compared their price/ portion to other brunch experience across NJ/NY. I went there because I saw a lot of positive reviews but I guess brunch was totally different.

Brunch menu was very limited. The best options are on the 3 course price fixed side. Sorry I don't want a 3 course brunch. Food was average.

I never usually do this, but I feel it can help the business. I just got back from a date there, 100$ (w/tip). The service was not good at all. First, right when walking in the staff was less than welcoming. The waiter-a younger guy, hispanic, very fast talking, couldn't understand a lot of what he was saying and he forgot about my drink 2x and forgot to bring us the desert menu, which we were possibly going to order from. Now, to the main event, the food. The vodka pizza was decent at best-hard to screw this up to be honest, nothing special at all. Dave Portnoy would give it a 6.4. For the main course we split a 27$ chicken which was as tasteless as my grandmother's growing up, plus the mushrooms and leaks didn't go with the dish. They also did not taste very good, sort of bitter. The portion size was comical for 27$. I'm expecting a small bird! or a big one for that matter. Not even close! It was a quarter chicken basically. I'm home now and starving--for 100$ Thanks. I'd appreciate staff to reach out to me and either provide me a refund or comp my next meal.

Dine in at Porters a few times since we live nearby and order pizzas to go super often. The food is average but the pizza is one of the best. It seems recently they are no longer serving pizzas. They also recently open an ice cream bar, the ice cream is meh it more watery than creamy. I think supermarket ice cream is even better.

I went here for dinner twice and the food was great, the chicken dish was top notch, the banana cake dessert to me is overrated, the cake part is dry and the service was okay but could be better. My friend and I were all but forgotten by our waiter, who also did not bring back tea we asked for for another 30 minutes. Maybe it was a busy night. Then I went for brunch and the sandwich was not good. Before I was 2 bites in, it disintegrated and the chicken on the inside was dry. So was the toast. If I lived in the neighborhood I would go back but I wouldn't cross town lines for Porter.
