Today I went into this location just to exchange some clothes I ordered for my son and I proceeded to wait in the line. At that point the manager Karen proceeds to tell me to wait in the line properly in a very rude manner but I simply told her thats not a problem and stood in line the way they wanted. Then the cashier tells me to wait behind the white line to then call the next person which was me anyway. The whole entire time I was there they were talking and laughing about customers including the manager Karen. She was also complaining about working at her job. The manager and the team that works under her are all very unprofessional, rude and nasty. I believe managers play a huge role as to how employees behave and if the manager behaves unprofessionally so will their employees. Will not be going to back to this store again.

CHILDREN'S PLACE I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the abhorrent service I recently encountered at your Watchung, NJ location. My experience with your establishment has been nothing short of disappointing and disheartening, prompting this one-star review. During my visit to your store, I was appalled by the lackadaisical attitude and unprofessionalism displayed by your employees. It appears that the concept of customer service and basic courtesy has been completely lost on them. The level of apathy, disinterest, and rudeness that emanated from your employees was nothing short of shocking. First and foremost, the disinterested and apathetic manner in which they answered the phone was a clear indicator of their contempt for customers. It seemed as though my mere presence and inquiry were a great inconvenience to them. I was met with curt and unhelpful responses that left me feeling unheard and unappreciated as a customer. Furthermore, the nonchalant and impolite demeanor with which your employees greeted customers was deeply disheartening. There was a distinct absence of any willingness to assist or offer guidance. Their apparent reluctance to engage with customers was palpable, and the overall experience was entirely unsatisfactory. In an era where customer service should be paramount, the behavior of your employees at this location is utterly inexcusable. The lack of courtesy and respect is both astonishing and repugnant, leaving a lasting negative impression of your brand. As a consumer, I expect a basic level of respect and professionalism when I patronize a business. The behavior I encountered at your Watchung, NJ location failed to meet even the lowest of expectations, tarnishing the reputation of your company. I urge you to take immediate and significant steps to address these glaring issues in customer service at this particular establishment. Failure to do so will undoubtedly result in the loss of additional patrons who refuse to tolerate such unacceptable treatment. In light of the deplorable experience I had, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend your Watchung, NJ location to others. I sincerely hope that you take this review as an opportunity to enact change and improve the overall customer experience at this store.

I have been shopping at this place for years and I recently made a purchase and the clothing was literally falling apart. With these extreme price hikes you would think you would be getting better quality items. That's definitely not the case. If you buy an item here that is defective there is nothing that they can do for you in store. It doesn't matter how many years or how much money you've spent. It's sad how retellers are turning into Walmart's and for getting all about good customer service & satisfaction.

My family and I were shopping in Blue Star Mall tonight. We were in Marshalls until 8:45 p.m. and then decided to stop by the children's place since it closes at 9:00 p.m. We walked over to the children's place and the store manager was closing the door and it was just turning 8:50 p.m. She gave us a very unfriendly look and kept motioning that the store was closed. I found this behavior incredibly unprofessional and I frankly found it unbelievable that she didn't want to sell anything in the last 10 minutes of the day. I am very disappointed with the store.
