    My son was in the NICU for a month and was sent home with an apnea monitor to monitor his heart. I was told it is not covered by insurance because of my provider. Not an issue we needed the device. I called my insurance company to find out Family medical never even called our insurance company. I called family medical and they acted like they did nothing wrong. Whats $300 when we already have medical bills out the you know what.Family medical then called and said it is 100% covered. Called my insurance company and they said no it is not.....once you hit your deductible we cover 80%. They just lie to try to make you happy. I called about 50 times. no lie 50 times to try to speak with a manager. Every time "let me take down your name and number and ill have him call you back" He was always "out of the office" after I spoke with him twice.They do not care about their customers AT ALL. I found charges they were just adding onto the bills as well. I had to dispute them or they would have been paid. actually read the bills from this company they try to sneak stuff in. The one guy litereally said insurance is paying for it so why does it matter......Insurance wasnt paying for it which was the best part.We spoke with the massive hospital about the issues we are having and they said we are not the only ones and that they are looking elsewhere..Thank god. I would not want anyone especially a NICU baby with heart issues to have to deal with this horrible company.

    This company works on their time and has no care for the patient. My daughter needed an apnea monitor. We were not able to leave the hospital until someone came and trained us in infant cpr and on the monitor. They were notified early on Thursday and they would not send someone on Friday because it was too far away. I offered to pay the overtime for after hours services and they still said no. We spent the weekend in the hospital since no one would come out. Their employee showed up late on Monday and unprepared. He did not have an infant model to practice cpr and did not have the equipment to set up the monitor and had to borrow from the nurses station. Healthcare is not a 9-5, 5 day a week business. It is 24/7. No regard for patient well being if it inconveniences them.
