We truly enjoyed our stay here. Very close to the beach. You can see the ocean from the 2nd floor balcony. Breakfast is served at the diner on the corner and the food is fantastic.

Beachblock, clean, charming old mansion, tasty breakfast, polite staff and affordable. This was our second stay of hopefully many to come. There's nothing more that needs to be said, this is a gem.

The Carisbrooke was the obvious choice for our shore vacation: the stellar reviews, proximity to the beach, and the fair pricing. I loved the decor, the bed was incredibly comfy, the amenities, everything! The Carisbrooke is perfect, and we'll be coming back as soon as we can!! Thanks so much :) Rooms: Extremely clean and well-maintained Nearby activities: There's SO much to do and see right outside. Perfect location Safety: I felt 100% safe at all times Walkability: Extremely walkable and bikeable. Food & drinks: The breakfast was SUPERB. Get the waffles, they will not disappoint

We booked room #2 through AirBNB for last Friday. We had tickets to a concert at the Hard Rock and decided that we wanted a nice quiet place to stay instead of Atlantic City. It was only a 10 minute Uber ride! The price was right and we took a chance only to find that we loved it there! The room had a Jacuzzi tub, quaint back porch, comfortable bed and overwhelming charm with its Victorian style room with high ceilings and antique-looking lamps and pictures, but upgraded enough for comfort. It was a stone's throw from the beach and had an adorable sitting area with tea, cookies and small items. The stay also included breakfast at the cafe a couple doors down, but we decided to sleep in with the checkout being 11:30. It's quiet, very private and we were made to feel right at home. We will definitely stay there the next time we're in town if there's availability. Check it out. Rooms: We loved the Victorian style room with the Jacuzzi tub, comfortable bed, back door with private porch that had stairs to exit the property. It was so quiet, private and quaint. Nearby activities: It is 300-350 ft from the beach. It's very close to Atlantic City and was only a 10 minute Uber ride to the Hard Rock at the North end of AC. Lots of places to eat and just relax. Safety: The area is very safe to walk during the day. Please be careful not to slip on the tile in the bathroom. It can get slippery (especially with socks). Use the railings provided and you'll be fine. Food & drinks: In the parlor there's tea, coffee and water. You'll also find cookies, muffins and other small snacks. Noteworthy details: My stay included breakfast at the cafe at the corner. There is staff, but you won't see them unless you need them. We were given our own passcode into the Inn and a real key for the room. There was only 1 key and you need to lock your door or it will stay unlocked when you leave. It's old school and I loved it. Nobody bothers you, even at checkout. I followed the instructions to leave the key in the room and call/text when you leave for checkout. The only downfall was the parking was a bit rough in the beginning. Once you check in, there's a parking pass you can use for 1 block over.
