Instead of using chemical flame retardants that are linked to thyroid cancer, cognitive problems and developmental delays, these mattresses use organic wool, a natural flame retardant, wrapped around organic latex. Don't be thrown off by the size of the store though. They carry a variety of name brand adult and youth mattresses, pillows, pet beds and body pillows - all organic materials and, have sales. You can test out the mattresses for as long as you like without being bothered since it is an investment. The upside is that these mattresses last a very long time and don't generate heat if you sleep warm.
