Almost six months ago, I transferred to Invictus Taekwondo after a bad experience at a nearby school. Although sometimes I wish I had chosen the right school the first time, I have a much greater appreciation for how positive and welcoming the atmosphere is at Invictus because of that experience. One sign that someone is a good teacher is that they have a positive impact on their students: not only are Master DeGeorge and his instructors incredibly knowledgeable and professional, I haven't forgotten how much my new classmates also helped me catch up and make me feel welcome when I started. Master DeGeorge and everyone else there teaching me helped me start caring about making progress towards becoming a black belt again, because I feel like THEY also care about my progress, and I can see that they care about the progress of each individual student here. If you're looking for a martial arts school that you can trust your child with, if you're looking for a friend or you're interested in self-defense yourself, I hope that you'll visit Master DeGeorge and the great people here. I know from experience, especially with COVID crushing so many businesses financially, it's not easy to find people are genuine when they say they'll put you first. I'm glad I eventually did.
