I attended MUA in the 5th grade. I was taught Islamic values amongst many other things. MUA is like a second home, everyone is family.

Wonderful place for children to learn the fundamental core subjects as well as the Sunnah, the Arabic language, Islamic studies and practice Islamic ediquitte. They also get to cultivate good athab(behavior) and gain hikmah(widsom) from great Muslim teachers (some who are parents as well) who deserve much respect for their hard work and especially for their subr(patience). I can't stress enough how important it is that the teachers efforts are not overlooked as teachers are in the dunya. These teachers are very special. As they serve a special purpose in the Muslim society and are a beacon of the correct practice and teaching of Islam to our youth. Alhamdullilah. So they deserve more from our students and parents alike, because they work hard. Great job MUA.

This is our 9th year at MUA, and we have three kids there who started in the toddler program. MUA is a truly special school. The children are happy and we have seen them grow emotionally, physically, and educationally over the years. We are welcomed into the school like family and feel like equal partners in finding and doing what is best for the kids. The Montessori system which MUA provides, is such an excellent environment for a childs development, and MUA is the best of Montessori. For example, academically, it has been amazing to me how much our kids have achieved. Two of our kids started reading and writing at the age of 4, in their second year of the primary program, and at age 5, were working on multiplication, division, and the decimal system! The school also provided other great learning experiences such as field trips and events (English and Arabic spelling bee, Arabic language day, culture day, Science fair, Welcome Ramadan event, Quran competition, Family gatherings, to name a few.) But the most important aspect of all of this is that kids love to go to school and feel its their second home. The teachers are amazing and treat our kids as their own kids. I am very thankful to each one of the teachers and staff at MUA for enhancing our life and the life of my kids. The support of the teachers has been outstanding. They are willing to try new things and help each child grow and learn at his or her own pace. Each student is encouraged to respect one another, all in an Islamic environment. As a family the School has brought peace to our home, and has done a lot in order for my kids to be happy, healthy, knowledgeable and confident. We are looking forward to many more years at MUA.
