This park has very nice features a beautiful lake and trails. It also has the stairway from an old amusement park remarkably intact. There also are a few other remnants from old white city amusement park i believe it was closed in the early 1920s

It is a very nice place to share with family, friends and, above all, take the little ones in the house for a walk.

30 years ago this place was a trash filled dump and the main wildlife was crack heads. A lot of people put in a great deal of hard work and now this is an absolutely beautiful place. There are lots of short hiking trails around the lakes and creek, great fishing, and a great place to canoe or kayak (the creek is tidal so you need to be careful). You can see tons of wildlife. A lot of rare birds, turtles, snakes, and many species of fish. There is plenty of parking, a nice picnic area with grills for a family lunch. There is also a lot of historical significance to this place for you nerds out there. If you love fishing, hiking, bird watching, history, or just sitting on a bench eating a sandwich you should check this place out. Restrooms: A port-o-potty is usually open during the summer months. Dog-friendliness: Good place to take the dog for a walk. Very open and never crowded. Picnic area: Large picnic area with tables and small charcoal grills.
