Not fair we have school on the weekend

We have school on the second of January? Very unfair, it is a day of observation and is disrespectful to people who celebrate new years. This is so crazy even my grandma didnt believe me and needed to look it up. This is outrageous as this has never happened in the past. Im tired of this mistreatment with little to no time during breaks anymore. This is not only unfair to students, but incredibly unfair to teachers as well, who have lives and its so unfair. Not to mention we have school the day before christmas eve, which for most people (including me) is actually christmas as hispanic people celebrate it that way. How would you guys feel if you had school on the 24th ? it feels the same way to us, its unfair and we need more time off if we are going every single day for 9 months for 6-7 hours a day! Its not fair and not right and i feel this needs to be changed.
