Penn Medicine Becker ENT & Allergy: Samuel S. Becker, M.D.

My hubby said Dr. Samuel Becker walked into the patient room and didn't even introduce himself; sounded annoyed when my hubby was explaining his sinus issue; spent all of 3 minutes with him & simply said you need a CT scan. Needless to say, when a doctor spends all of 3 minutes with you and then bills your insurance company twice in a row -- one claim for $270 and the other claim for $606 -- I think it's safe to say that my hubby will be seeing another ENT for his sinus issue. No doctor deserves to bill almost $1000 for barely speaking to his patient -- sounds like a scam to me! We highly do NOT recommend Dr. Becker!

Avoid visiting this doctor as they charge huge amounts for the services that are not being done. They consider them as specialists but services are normal but charges are far above the specialist. Better visit normal doctor than these specialist doctor

I put off having my deviated septum operation for years and finally found a doctor I felt confident with to perform the surgery, and that was Dr. Becker. I was terrified to have the procedure done from all the horror stories I heard, but he was kind, patient and alleviated all my fears. The results were great and for my surgery, it went exactly how he explained. I had no pain after and any issues that I did have, he made sure I could reach him. It's wonderful to breathe and get a better nights rest, and I owe it him.

Because of some previous cataract and retina surgeries I was apprehensive about more surgery to clean out a severe and ongoing sinus infection. For months I was blowing my nose constantly, using nasal sprays, trying desperately to clear my sinuses, etc. I went to Dr. Sam Becker, who has offices in Monroe and Princeton. After getting a CT scan I consulted with him about the need for surgery. Sinuses were completely blocked. I found him to be personable, an expert in his field, having a good sense of humor, and he listened to my concerns. He didnt pressure me and only wanted to help me breathe better. Not because of Dr. Becker, but being wary of surgery, I went for a second opinion. The second doctor only validated everything Dr Becker stated. So we set up the surgery. Surgery took place at Princeton Hospital, Medical Arts building. All I can say was the entire procedure, from coming in the front door to being operated on by Dr. Becker reduced any anxieties I may have had. Nurses, receiving staff, doctors, including Dr. Becker were all very professional, compassionate, and empathetic. Nurses and staff raved about Dr Becker. Now that was reassuring to hear! Everyone was concerned for my welfare. Dr. Becker sat with me before the surgery, explained everything to me and also shared everything with my wife post op. A very caring doctor. Its only been two days since the surgery and I can already breathe so much better now. The quality of my life is changing for the better already. I highly recommend Dr. Sam Becker (he has a brother, same last name) for any ENT issues you may have. Hes an exceptional doctor and surgeon plus hes down to earth and a nice guy. What more could we want from someone who we trust to operate on us? Have an issue? Go see him. Hes the best in my book....Dennis Ventrello
