Took my husband to the emergency room here, the wait to be registered was over an hour before even being seen and when we got to the exam area it started off in a area where no one had privacy sitting elbow to elbow next to others in recliner looking chairs that really didn't recline. The hospital needs better prompt servicing and a little remodeling and better housekeeping.

The most unprofessional, uncaring, and outright rude people work here. My husband went there because his body temperature was very low and his pressure very high, he had dizziness too. The nurses and Dr. Samir Bhandutia completely ignored him and my daughter and dismissed my husband's symptoms. Dr. Bhandutia rushed the stroke test, refused to listen to my husband's concerns, and didnt even tell him his test results. The staff did not monitor his pressure which remained high or his temperature which remained low. They refused to listen to my daughter explain my husband's symptoms and forced my husband to speak even though he was too weak to speak and gave permission over and over for my daughter to speak for him. They still ignored what he said and they kept insisting he was having a heart attack. He was not. He had a bad reaction to a medication, which he told them about. Capital Health seems to make a point of hiring the worst people and it seems like they tell the doctors and nurses to ignore patients, epsecially poor medicaid patients. How else could all Capital Health hospitals be so horrible? Whether it's their ERs, primary care clinics, specialists, or outpatient testing, my family and I have had mostly bad experiences and have witnessed other patients be mistreated as well. We have even witnessed the few good doctors endure abuse, including r@cist abuse. Go elsewhere. Your life depends on it. Oh, and you can complain all you want. Capital Health won't do a thing. We have complained many times. Nothing ever changed.
