John has been our dream come true!!! He transformed a standard Cape cod of.ours into a high end up.to date magical transformation!! He is the most reliable , talented and honest man. He has become more than our contractor. He and Oresta have become good friends. We can not recommend him enough!!! I walk around our "new" home in disbelief. I called.out numerous contractors John by far was the most reliable and the absolute best with communication. He was I Our home for many weeks and we now miss him lol. If you want your job done right and fast John is your man!!!! Looking for.more work in our home for him now. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. "J & O is the way to go!!"

I contacted John to paint and replace wood on the outside my house After not hearing from another contractor I was going to use. He was prompt on his call back, and was doing the work when he said he would. His estimate was accurate and the work he did was superb. I fully recommend him To anyone

Run away as far as you can from John Combs and his company. He is a fraud. I hired him to demolish the deck and build new deck in October 2020. He only finished demolition in November 2020 and abandoned the job for few months as of March 2021. when you call him he always driving for excuse not to answer your call. He usually demands large money to secure lumber and his time, which he never did for me. He has no knowledge of deck construction even he claimed that he flipped the house. He lied to me that he submitted permit to Ewing township but month later I found out from township that he never submitted. He has good speech to convince you to get large money from your pocket, and than does a little bit work and he will never shows up to job site. He usually reports to work after 1pm, and barely work 2 to 3 hours. I hired him to for $7300 (includes labor and materials) for demolition deck & Shed and construct new deck and shed, and paid him $4300 in advance to secure materials. Assume, 50% materials (however material cost me about $4500), the labor cost would be about $3700. He has only finished demolition and replaced tarp paper and minor fix in sill plate with about less than $100 materials. He demanded $3400 worth of labor is done. I am going to leave it up to the reader if his demand is right or wrong !! If you hired him, do not pay single penny in advance or ready to hire lawyer. He is not eligible to get even one star rating but google review has no any other options. Also, He used two different addresses for his license and quote, which I realized after the contract. I am such a huge fan of John's work! With so many contractors to choose from in Bucks County, it was hard to find one that would be the perfect fit until I came across this company. John is so incredibly welcoming, helpful, and accommodating which made the overall experience of renovating our home exciting and actually enjoyable.
Our home has now become an entertainment dream! The layout of our first floor was completely re-created from boxy rooms to a gorgeous open floor plan that flows so beautifully between rooms. All we knew was that we wanted an open area but couldn't envision it. Oresta was extremely helpful in coming up with the idea and John made it come to life and we could not be more thrilled!! The design process turned out to be the most exciting and we were involved the entire way. Who knew that picking out TILE... could be so.. fun?! LOL
No matter what you are renovating, you can expect the best. Friends and family as well as ourselves continue to comment in awe at what our home has become. We were able to get everything we wanted and remain in budget during the whole process and that is why without a doubt I recommend J&O Reno for any of your home's needs!!
