W A Associates

Hello, I am here today to describe my experience with W A Associates. One morning as I was cleaning my house, and I hear my door bell ring. To my convenience there was a (what I thought to be nice) young man at my door offering a free carpet cleaning. I figured since I was cleaning my house anyway, I might as well give it a shot and see what this baby was packing. so we enter my living room I sit down on the couch and this young kid starts telling me why I should buy this carpet cleaner. He starts giving me his entire life story of how he has a kid and his girlfriend left him as he is putting this thing together and my response was I didnt want to buy the carpet cleaner because it wasnt in my budget at the moment. Out of nowhere this kid starts getting nasty almost threatening me to purchase his machine. Now I have a very fun loving dog that loves new company and is excited to make new friends. I got up to answer the phone, and this young man was un-aware that I myself with my own eyes watched him push my loving puppy away from him and he even SMACKED my dog. At this point I was ready for him to leave but when i walked and said i had to leavehe said it only only take 5 more minutes. LIES. When he started the machine Im guessing he didnt set it up right because it leaked something all over my carpet and IT STAINED!!!!!!! He said it would come out and the kirby would take it out and i should buy 1 because it would take more than 1 time over it to remove the stain. BULLSH*T. when I tried contacting these people, hey refused ever being at my house in the first place. these people are ridiculous and i will never recomend them and i feel sorry for the poor sap that does. I dont even want to give 1 star but im obligated to

A salesperson came to our door saying that they had just opened a CARPET CLEANING business across the bridge (we live in Morrisville, PA) and asked if we would like a FREE ONE ROOM carpet cleaning. He said that there was not obligation to buy anything but to please keep his CARPET CLEANING services in mind in the future. Of course, I let him in to clean our living room. I'm so stupid I actually thought they would just clean one room and leave. The carpet cleaner came back a few minutes later, at which point I stepped into the kitchen to continue about my chores and let him do his thing. A few minutes later, the kid asked if I had a few minutes to talk about the vacuum I currently use. He then went into a TWO HOUR spiel about the Kirby vaccum, showed me every possible attachment, marched from room to room showing me what it could do etc. I kept mentioning I needed to get my house ready for company and he said "I'll be out of your hair in about 15-20 mins". LIES. I was totally misled into letting a Kirby vacuum salesperson in my house, which again, is partially my own naivety. He then proceeded to "run the numbers" for me over three times even though I told him from the beginning I did not want to buy anything. After every time he "ran the numbers" I would step into the kitchen again to finish what I was doing. (I was able to keep and eye on him from the kitchen.) TWICE he called his manager on the phone and loudly proclaimed "No, no she's not interested. No, I mentioned that. She doesn't want to spend that much. Hmm let me ask her." What part of NO did you not understand? He told me that I should consider getting rid of my cleaning lady in order to make payments on the Kirby... How does that help me?? Overall this was a completely RIDICULOUS experience. I was misled into letting these people into my own, felt like they were violating my space, pressuring me with their techniques, and most importantly WOULD NOT LEAVE. Seriously this kid started packing up three times and each time came back to bother me with some other piece of information he thought would sway me. I actually had to kick him out by asking him to leave. AWFUL. HORRIBLE SALES PEOPLE AND TECHNIQUES. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED.
