Coming up on the 5 year mark of my Dad's services there. Unlike many, Dad wasn't local anymore, but had entrusted a member of the Festa family, that shared my father's line of work, to "do right" by him. Doing right entailed a partner funeral home on my side of the state transferring Dad's body somewhere on the Garden State Parkway, then getting his body to Totowa for the services. There's a reason people choose Festa in their final time. Those who had roots or careers of note go there, as it's known as not only a landmark, but just *where you go*. I'm forever grateful. Was it costly? Yes. Was it worth it? Also yes.

If youre looking for somewhere that will be sensitive to your familys loss, this is not your place. A bunch of total jerks. 10/10 do not recommend.

We recently attended a wake at Festa Funeral Home. We have two handicapped sons who both use walkers to ambulate. There is no ramp at any of the outside entrances. We were forced to ring a bell and wait. No one answered. We had to summon someone who proceeded to open the garage, which contained a NON-ADA-COMPLIANT steep loading ramp with no handrails that a staff member "suggested" they use. Our sons had no other choice but to take the lift used to transport "dead bodies" from the basement, which had no railings and was also NON-ADA-COMPLIANT. It is shameful that a place that accommodates the public is able to get away with this arrangement. I have to wonder who they "paid off".

No one answered. We had to summon someone who proceeded to open the garage, which contained an extremely steep, non-ADA-compliant loading ramp. In this day and age, it is shameful that a place that accommodates the public and should expect people with disabilities is able to get away with this arrangement.

Visiting a good friend's Mothers wake. Festa is very attentive and they offer a calm experience with dignity.
