SmartCerts-American Heart Association (AHA) CPR-BLS-ACLS-PALS Certification Classes

Just completed the hybrid BLS certification course with SmartCerts and I'm beyond impressed. The course itself was concise and well-organized, allowing for a great balance of theory and hands-on practice. The online portion was informative and set a solid foundation. However, the real game-changer was the in-person skills session led by Jason. Jason's ability to convey complex information in a simple and understandable manner was remarkable. He ensured everyone understood the techniques, offering individual feedback that was both constructive and encouraging. I left the class feeling well-prepared to handle BLS situations effectively. This course gets a solid five stars. Thanks Jason!

I had to recertify for my BLS certification through AHA, for my new employer, Hackensack Meridian. I came across a random instructor and signed up for his class, Jason Pellegrino, who is an EMT. I have been in the medical industry for a while, & I can say thisJason is, BY FAR, the most knowledgeable, structured and influential BLS instructor I have met. He is so accommodating and corresponds with his students very professionally, through texting. You never feel like a bother to him. Jason explains & even illustrates on the white board the statistics and reasons for conducting certain BLS protocols, based on ages & situations. Not only that but Jason also is structured enough to have his students read the on-line information, take quizzes and the final exam, before attending his in-person class. The educational on-line classes are all recorded by him, of him. He is very entertaining, too! His knowledge of BLS is impressive. After taking the on-line course, then attending the in-person, you will be emailed your BLS card immediately. The whole process was seamless. I would highly recommend taking his class. You will be extremely satisfied & educated! Thank you, Jason. Ill be back in 2 years for my recertification!!

This was my second time taking my BLS with Jason! The first time was a great experience and the most recent class was even better. He is quick to respond to any questions regarding signing up for class or help with the online portion. The class is a blended program where there are videos ( of Jason) demonstrating all skills that will be covered in the hands on portion. The blended learned gave me the opportunity to go at my own pace to understand the content. The videos are not dry at all he makes it very fun. In the hands on portion Jason makes sure the students are able to properly perform CPR. He takes the time to go over skills and hand placement when needed without calling out the student. The scenarios and active participation with the group makes you think and understand the "why" of the steps needed for an adult or child or choking patient. He is very respectful towards the students learning, he is very knowledgeable and you can tell that he enjoys doing what he does. I will continue to take this class every renewal and recommend to others. Also the cards were available almost immediately after class maybe 15 minutes which is a plus

I have been in healthcare since 1994. I have been certified in BLS since that time. Honestly I never felt confident enough to initiate BLS before tonight 12/28/2023. I took the online portion 9:00pm 12/27/23. It was about 2 1/2 hours long. After each lesson, broken down was a quiz. Throughout out each lesson questions from the previous lesson were repeated to ensure it was explained and forgotten. The online video/ course was so engaging and genius. After I was done I told my husband that the online portion was so amazing that It felt like I was learning BLS the right way for the first time. When I got to the onsite/ in person portion I met Jason Pellegrino! The instructor for both the online and In person class. His energy and love of teaching BLS the right way was clearly visible. He was absolutely amazing! Jason is a High Quality Instructor teaching High Quality Life saving skills. He made sure everyone was engaged and demonstrating their best efforts in the class, no exceptions no excuses! This is the instructor that should be teaching the world BLS and I will never go to anyone else! I walked out tonight actually feeling competent and confident in my skills. Thank you so much Jason Pellegrino! You are a Life saver!
