We used to travel to NYC, MD, Philly but travel no more! The owner is with it, vibrant, skilled, and brings joy to the dance shopping experience, pointe shoe fitting, Liturgical costume selection, and the hunt for dance bags, gifts, and dancer-athlete basics. I used to shop here when I was little. Now I am going back for my youngest. They are always very kind and helpful here. With so many options and various dance wear it can be confusing searching online.

I can wait to post all over all social media outlets to share the word with all of our friends, family etc. about how incredible this business is. Beautiful business and an huge variety and selections of high quality products! Angela was hands-down, the most helpful and patient person and not only was this a positive experience, but legitimately they saved the day. Without going into too much detail as this isnt about me, we were in a time crunch to get a handful of items for my 5 year old daughter for her first dance class tonight. My daughter has wanted to dance since she could walk. I lacked the knowledge of where to go to get professional items. I went by word-of-mouth and tried to order online, and it was a huge mistake! So with only a few hours until my daughter started dance tonight, my mother rushed over to encore. They were so patient with our questions, my being on FaceTime with my mom, and were not pushy at all. (Example, we want to try the transition tights for my daughter but decided one pair would be good for now because if she likes them Ill purchase several more, but if she prefers footed, I will get some footed tights). Angela asked how many and when we said one that was it. When she asked about the shoes, I told her I would prefer to have my daughter come in and get sized and she left it at that. (Aside from telling me how excited my daughter will be to come there and shes 100% right !) This is one of the best experiences we have ever had in any store. (I also love how there is the online shopping option! Talk about convenience!!!) I cannot wait to bring my daughter and I cant wait to purchase many more items here. Encode now has a lifelong customer! I have 3 sons and 1 daughter, and my daughter is definitely the princess of our family and loves all things pink and frilly. Cant wait to bring her to what will be her dream store.
